Heroes

Heroes possess superior abilities and power; they are the most dominant pieces in the game. Players can unlock variations of Heroes and Legendary Heroes to best suit their attack style. Seasonal heroes will also be released resembling members of the Pirates of the Metaverse community.

Pirates

Pirates have plundered the Metaverse for years and learned different skills, attack styles and possess an array of different weapons. The RTS element of the game is realized when players collate a battle deck of complimentary pirates to create an optimal attack strategy. Pirates can be levelled up to increase their abilities and strength, where upgrading to ‘Legendary’ status remains the ultimate goal

Pets

Shoulder pets play a huge role assisting the pirates in their quest to amass Amethyst. Birds such as the Guacamaya and the Robo-Parrot assist flying from atop of the attack. While the pesky monkeys move quickly in the battle to both attack and distract the enemy. Bob the blob is a pillar of most attack strategies with his ability to absorb damage and shield.

Air Ships

One of the most OP attacks come from the skies with the use of Air Ships. They are the Pirates’ mode of transport, come in many shapes and forms. Some optimize for speed, while others are weapons of mass destruction. ‘Legendary’ Air Ships can be obtained at higher levels of game play or purchased with seasonal releases.

Spells

Get a leg up in your attack in an instant by using spells. Spell properties will influence health of your troops, speed, or rain hellfire on your enemies with missiles, rum bombs, lasers and more. Look to the far right of your in-game battle deck as spells can suddenly become available to use as a ‘Wild Card.’

Legendary Status

Obtaining a ‘Legendary’ version of all the above Heroes and Pirates is the ultimate goal for each character. Legendary signifies ownership of the character, which can then be traded or sold in the open market with other players. Accumulating skulls in the game unlocks the ability to use said ‘Legendary’ characters to compete with the most elite gamers in the metaverse. Legendary characters may also be obtained with seasonal releases.

Arenas

While progressing through the game, players unlock new Arenas that change beyond simple theme and cosmetic changes. Newly unlocked arenas will feature environmental variations, choke points and game mechanics. This is essential to keep the players engaged in discovering new attack strategies and battle decks.
